What better way to get in the spirit of a pledge drive than to discuss regional issues effecting community media? Recently, KSER 90.7 devoted an hour to talk about these and the upcoming NW Media Summit on the show Sound Living.
Host Ed Bremer was joined by Ann Alquist, Director of Membership at Alaska Public Media; Mike Wassenaar, president of the Alliance for Community Media; and Sabrina Roach, Doer at Brown Paper Tickets and board member of the ACMNWR.
“Today we are talking about the Alliance for Community Media Northwest Summit happens next weekend at the Doubletree Inn at Southcenter in Tukwila. Friday and Saturday next week, community media activists from seven states and western Canada, will gather for the Alliance for Community Media Northwest Summit. The Alliance represents and advocates on behalf of grassroots media creators,” said Ed Bremer, host of Sound Living.
