OCTOBER 20TH 2023 (COMMUNITY MEDIA DAY)

Community Media Day is an annual celebration of the importance of free speech and accessible media for all individuals to have their voices heard. To celebrate, we’re hosting the ACM Northwest Regional Board for a conversation about the present and future of community media, the upcoming Best of the Northwest Awards (applications open September 15th!), and next year’s regional ACM conference in Olympia, Washington. 

The future of community media is you, and the Alliance for Community Media exists to support your work in a shifting landscape of cable franchises, FCC policies and emerging technologies. The ACM advocates on issues like net neutrality, broadband access and the distribution and protection/production of artists’ work everywhere. 

Meet the Northwest Regional Board and learn more about how you can get involved in the ACM’s network of creatives and activists in this important conversation! The ACM Northwest Region represents and advocates on behalf of all media creators and providers throughout Alaska, Alberta, British Columbia, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. Board Chair Chris Lawn will facilitate a panel of current Regional board members:
